The British Pharmacological Society and International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacologists (IUPHAR) jointly hosted the 19th World Congress of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology (WCP202) from 2-7 July 2023 in Glasgow, Scotland. The aim was to unite the global pharmacology and therapeutics community.
The IUPHAR Education Satellite Meeting, hosted just before WCP2023, brought together educators from across the globe, sharing their ideas, expertise, resources, and innovations.
On the first day, Professor Ahmed Wahid gave an oral presentation on OPPM Program during a session about Training the next generation. The presentation stimulated interest in the OPPM program, its postgraduate diploma, and how it applies to online education using IT and E-laboratories. It was an excellent opportunity to introduce OPPM Program to an international audience specializing in pharmacology.
