The meeting was hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Wahid (AU), the project coordinator and the acting head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, in partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology team. The meeting aimed to highlight project insights and for the preparation of the kick-off meeting, which was planned to be on 1/12/2021 and will be hosted by Nile University, Egypt.
Prof. Ahmed Wahid (AU) welcomed the audience of (AU, and MCIT) and made a brief description of the OPPM project, its aims, general timeline plan, collaborating partners, insights, and expected outcomes.
Prof. Sahar El-Gowilly (AU), Head of the department of pharmacology and toxicology, emphasized the importance and the powerful anticipated impacts of the OPPM project. She shared her past experience in an IT-Based International Diploma and Professional Certificate in Clinical Toxicology (ITCT Erasmus +) project. She was assigned as the head of the AU team and described the anticipated tasks of the team regarding Gap analysis and survey. She made a brief introduction about Gap analysis and survey and her personal strategy.
The planned objectives, tasks, and deliverables of Gap analysis and survey were explained. Surveying pharmacogenomics academic programs, and e-form educational programs in the middle east were assigned to Dr.Nehal Elmansoury, and Dr.Amani Sorour (AU). Surveying pharmacogenomics academic programs, and e-form educational programs in Europe were assigned to Dr.Salwa Aburageh and Dr.Heba Metwaly (AU).
