From the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”; Alexandria – Egypt the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University was pleased to welcome the International Conference on “Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences, PHS at Hilton Green Plaza, Alexandria Egypt.
PHS-2022 involved valuable talks, fruitful discussions, oral and poster presentations as well as effective workshops covering many emerging topics related to pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare future vision, and pharmacy practice. The PHS-2022 provided an optimal environment for distinguished speakers, eminent scientists, industry leaders & representatives, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and other healthcare professionals.
OPPM Project had a strong presence at this conference through the speeches delivered by its consortium members and the booth that highlighted the Project’s objectives and modules.
Prof. Ingolf Cascorbi, Institute of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, Kiel University, Germany, presented a talk on the Pharmacogenetics of Depressive Disorder. Prof. Ann Daly, Translational and Clinical Research Institute, Newcastle University, UK, discussed Pharmacogrnotyping as A proposed Gene Panel. Prof. Vangelis Manolopoulos, Laboratory of Pharmacology, University of Thrace, Greece, Demonstrated in his talk Implementing Pharmacogenetic Testing in Fluoropyrimidine-treated Cancer Patients to prevent Toxicity. Prof. Nathalie Khoueiry Zgheib, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, American University of Beirut, Lebanon, described in her talk Pharmacogenomics of Childhood Leukemia from Research to clinical practice.
