A local dissemination event was held at Fayoum University under the administration of Prof. Sanaa Haroon, Director of the Technology Innovation Commercialization Office (TICO), Fayoum University.
Prof. Sanaa Haroon, FU, made a welcome note in which she expressed her happiness to host this event within Fayoum University and highlighted the importance of the OPPM project to the vision of postgraduate studies.
Prof. Ahmed Wahid held an Administrative session (Grant agreement, Partnership agreements, report templates) in addition to Budget and financial rules. All partners must have already spent not less than 70% of the first installment before getting the full second one. He clarified the ineligible costs to avoid and the equipment purchase rules. He also discussed dissemination activities for the upcoming months.
Some budget and financial rules were discussed including travel costs, costs of stay, staff costs, and financial reporting.
Prof. Sahar Elgowilly, Head of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department and the head of the AU team, exhibited the gap analysis data and displayed the data gathered from various surveys, questionnaires, and literature studies, which illustrate the significance of PGx and the demand for PGx degrees in Egypt and Lebanon from both an academic and social standpoint. She provided an overview of the degrees and certifications linked to postgraduate education that are offered in the EU, the Middle East, and E LABS. According to data, Egypt clearly needs more PGx educational, professional, and training degrees.
