Professor Sahar El-Gowilly is a chair of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University. Before this, Professor Sahar was a pharmacology professor at the pharmacy faculty at AU. Her specialty in the field of pharmacology is cardiovascular and renal pharmacology. She has 39 publications in top-ranked journals, has an h-index (13), 471 citations, and supervised 15 postgraduate students. Professor Sahar has been a part-time professor at the Arab Academy of Science and Pharos University over the past 10 years. Professor Sahar El-Gowilly participates in several national (3 STD-Funded) and international (Erasmus plus) projects as Principle investigator (PI) or Co-PI. And she is a member of the editorial board of the World Academy of Science, a member of the American college of clinical Pharmacology, Reviewer in several pharmacological journals such as the European Journal of Pharmacology.
