Ahmed Alaa Azzam

Learning Management System (LMS) Project Manager

Ahmed Azzam has a strong background in information technology (IT) and management. He has held various positions in the field, including Deputy IT Manager, Project Manager-IT Infrastructure Supervisor, Computing Services Team Leader, Systems Engineer, and Operations Engineer.

In his current role as Deputy IT Manager at Nile University in Egypt, Ahmed is responsible for contributing to the development of IT departmental strategies, identifying technology investments, handling the annual budget, managing a team, and ensuring the consistency and maintainability of existing applications.

Prior to his current position, Ahmed served as a Project Manager-IT Infrastructure Supervisor at Nile University, where he performed service analysis, prepared request for proposals, conducted market research, analyzed solutions, and managed all the implementation phases of different ICT projects.

Ahmed’s experience also includes serving as a Computing Services Team Leader, where he conducted proof of concept tests, managed the budget of the Computing Services division, developed operations manuals, identified highly qualified candidates, hired, trained, led and evaluated their performance in achieving goals, and developed and updated the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) policy.

In addition to his professional experience, Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Nile University, Egypt. He has also been involved in several previous projects, including the implementation of Students Information System, ERP system, and HR system.
