Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt under the care of Prof. Ahmed Wahid (AU), the project coordinator and the acting head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University and in partnership with Prof. Sahar Elgowilly AU, Head of the department of pharmacology and toxicology and the head of the AU team, hosted the AU team members and appraised their hard work and commitment to the planned timeline.
Prof. Sahar El-gowilly overviewed the latest updates regarding Gap analysis and survey. She demonstrated the updated gap analysis report and confined the few remaining parts to be sent by collaborating contributors. She briefly overviewed the reports sent by the EU partners regarding gap analysis and survey.
Prof. Ahmed Wahid (PI) clarified some points regarding Course Development and assigned Dr. Amani Sorour and Dr. Nehal El-mansoury to help set the Egyptian national reference standards for diploma/master credit hours and quality standards. He assigned Dr. Salwa Aburageh to help with the preparation of the whole degree’s planned competencies, objectives, and ILOs.
Prof. Ahmed Wahid (PI) set a time limit to finalize the course specs of “Molecular biology” & “Introduction to pharmacogenomics” by Dr. Heba Metwaly and himself, and “Molecular pharmacology” & “Clinical drug safety” by Prof. Sahar El-gowilly and Dr. Salwa Aburageh.
