Field Visit Experience: Students Exploring Real-World Applications of Genomics and Pharmacogenomics at 57357 Hospital
As part of our intensive 2-week online certificate module on Genomics and Pharmacogenomics in Infectious Diseases, our students had the unique opportunity to attend a 3-day field visit at the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 in Cairo.
This immersive experience allowed students to see how genomic and pharmacogenomic techniques are applied in real-world clinical settings, enhancing patient care and advancing personalized medicine. It was a transformative opportunity that bridged the gap between their theoretical knowledge and practical healthcare applications.
