As one of the consortium members of the OPPM Program, Dr. Asmaa Abu Shady conducted an info session about the program for the attendees of the practical sessions of the “North Africa in the Age of Biodiversity Genomics” workshop organized by members of the African Biogenome Project (AFRICABP) . The School of Biotechnology at Nile University hosted the practical sessions of the AFRICABP, a pan-African effort aiming to establish genomic data of thousands of species for the enhancement and sustainable use of agriculture and biodiversity across Africa.
